REGISTRATION – All boats must be registered with the Tournament Committee and entry fee paid to qualify for purse. Early entries must be received and/or postmarked by 9/23/2016 (September 23rd, 2016). Standard entries must be received and/or postmarked by 10/7/2016 (October 7th, 2016). Any boat may be substituted prior to the declared fishing day with approval from the Tournament committee. A boat and Captain may only be entered and registered to fish one day during the tournament; however, entrants, including Captains, may fish on additional boats as crew members.
CAPTAIN’S MEETING – With our Tournament encompassing such a vast area and Weigh In locations at multiple sites we have decided to not have a Captains Meeting this year. Historically, a small percentage of Teams attend which contributes to a waste of food and money. We feel that the elimination of the Captains Meeting will add money to the Shriners Hospital Donation at Tournaments Conclusion. As always, if anything is not clear or you have questions regarding the format or rules PLEASE contact us directly for clarification prior to and during the Tournament.
FISHING DAYS AND TIMES – A boat may fish 1 out of 28 possible days. Eligible fishing days are October 8th, 2016, through November 5th, 2016 (extended for 2016 due to Hurricane Matthew). Lines in at 8:00 am and line out at 3:00 pm. All times are based on official GPS time. In order for a fish to qualify to be weighed, a team must have declared their fishing day by 8AM on the morning of that day. Declarations are made by text (843)251 1134 ; state your boat name, your name, and the day you are fishing. If no one answers, please leave your information on the voicemail. Failure to properly declare will result in disqualification. For safety reasons, all boats must check-in upon returning to port by calling the above referenced phone number.
